BackTrax: A Backdrop Application for NOS 2.x

BackTrax is a Backdrop-Application for Newtons with OS 2.0 or higher. The purpose of developing BackTrax was to have a backdrop, that informs about the most important data of the Newton as well as offering a pin board for important notes which should almost always be visible! One major goal of developing BackTrax was, that it should be very heap saving. The result is, that BackTrax needs 0.5 - 1.5 kB of Heap only!!

9.3.2000: Release of BackTrax 1.2: Use of carriage returns in sticky notes is now possible; improved handling of moving sticky notes when the note is moved beyond borders.

BackTrax is freeware, so feel free to download and test it. There are two different Versions of Backtrax, one for systems with OS2.0 (MP120/130) and systems with OS2.1 (MP2x00). Each Version is specialized for the appropriate OS-Version.
